The Tin House reluctantly must announce that we closed November 30, 2011. The County determined that we must make a number of major improvements and pay large fees in order to continue using this location.
We will continue to be actively producing events at other venues, both on our own and in coordination with various local non-profits. We will continue bringing in great music from around the country, and supporting our incredible local musicians. We already have events scheduled for December. Please check here or our FaceBook page for updates, and sign up for our newsletter if you haven’t done so yet.

For over a year we have worked to offer the community a place to come together to support live music and art, and to encourage our young people and the less fortunate.
We have hosted more than eighty events, and presented well over one hundred different musicians and groups. We have had month-long exhibits for nine incredibly talented local artists. “Home Free”, the Hospitality House homeless shelter’s band, has stored their donated equipment and rehearsed here twice every week for over a year. We have hosted numerous fund-raisers for local organizations, including the United Way and the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition. We have hosted open mic nights for young musicians, afterschool programs, and life drawing sessions for high school students and local artists.
We would like to thank everyone who has encouraged and supported us
for the last year. It has been very rewarding and a lot of fun.
We look forward to next year!!
Please keep in touch…..
Thanks!!
